Divine Service
Served by the Lord
We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ still serves us through the Divine Service every Sunday. He cleansed our sins through the absolution and He welcomes us to commune at the Lord's Supper. We believe in His real presence in the Body and Blood that we commune and we invite those in agreement with our Lutheran confession of faith to commune.
If you have not communed with us before, or have doubts about our Church's teaching and confession, please speak to the pastor before the service. It is better to be safe than to risk receiving the sacrament to one's spiritual harm (cf. 1 Cor. 11:29).
Our Liturgies
The ECAV CZ and the LCMS missionary worked together to produce the liturgies that we are using now. They are based on the Divine Service Setting 3 from the Lutheran Service Book (LSB), based on the Church Calendar:
Advent
Christmas and its season
Epiphany
Gesimatide (the three weeks before Lent)
Lent
Eastertide
Pentecost and Trinity
