Our Church Community
We are Lutherans
We confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and as the Head of His body, the universal (catholic) Christian Church. As confessional Lutherans, we emphasize that we receive the Holy Scriptures as the inerrant and infallible Word of God, the authoritative source of all doctrine and faith. We also align ourselves with the Church Reformation begun by Dr. Martin Luther during the 16th century, subscribing without exception to the Lutheran confessional writings (Book of Concord of 1580). Through the gift of God's Word and the Sacraments (Holy Baptism and Holy Communion), we receive God's grace which creates saving faith in each person, a faith that clings solely to Jesus Christ as the sole Savior from sin, death, and hell. We strive to be a holy community, offering a spiritual home to both Christians and those who are still searching for answers to questions relating to God and their personal relationship with Him.
